The Dartford Mela for the first time will take place outdoors at the band stand area of Central Park on Saturday September 25 between 1.30pm and 6pm.

Gurvinder Sandher from Cohesion Plus commented, “I am really looking forward to the Dartford Mela. We have a fresh, exciting lineup with many of the new and emerging Bhangra stars such as Angrez Ali, Benny Dhaliwall, Foji, Four by Four performing alongside Bhangra legends Premi, as well as diverse artists such as the Jewels Bellydancers, Taylormade Dance, the Cohesion Plus “Cultural Fusion” Performance and Bloco Fogo. It has been a long held ambition of mine to have the Dartford Mela outdoors and I especially pleased by the help and support provided to us by Dartford Borough Council and Arts Council England in helping it happen.”
