Cohesion Plus has been working in partnership with Gravesham Borough Council on the Big Gig which will take place on July 17 between 1.30pm and 6.30pm at the Bandstand at the Fort Gardens in Gravesend. Highlights during the programme include Bloco Fogo, the Cohesion Plus commissioned work “Fusion Clash” as well as performances by local band Tax Run featuring Charlotte Coe, Kads Malone, bhangra star Foji and chart toppers Black Lace.
Cohesion Plus in partnership with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is proud to present the Tunbridge Wells Mela which will be taking place at Calverley Gardens between 1.30pm and 7.15pm. This free event normally attracts thousands of people and this year there is another full day of entertainment and activity for the community to enjoy. Jassi Sidhu will be one of the star attractions at the Big Day Out Gravesham Festival this year. He will be joined by the likes of tribute acts like Glee Club, the JLS Experience as well as the 1980’s chart topping act Dr and the Medics. Jassi will be on stage by the Riverside at around 6.30pm with his live band.

Bhangra Superstar Jazzy B will be headlining this year’s Dartford Mela Community Festival on August 13 in Central Park. This will be the biggest Mela in Dartford to date with a specially arranged stage being brought in to accommodate Jazzy B and his live band. The Mela will take place between 2.30pm and 6.30pm.

Sukshinder Shinda the Music Man himself will be performing at the Maidstone Mela on September 10. The weekend will also see performances by the Counterfeit Beatles and popular Michael Jackson tribute act Navi on September 11.
