Cohesion Plus is proud to support the Kent element of the inaugural South Asian Film Festival UK, which will bring three landmark films from Indian cinema to Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater this October.
Supported by the BFI Audience Projects Fund, awarding National Lottery funding, the Festival will celebrate South Asian cinema, culture, music and storytelling through three special screenings:
- Sunday 4 October – Sangam, presented in a restored 4K edition
- Sunday 11 October – Kabhi Kabhie, marking its 50th anniversary
- Sunday 18 October – Dil Chahta Hai, marking its 25th anniversary
Rajesh Bedi, Festival Director of the South Asian Film Festival UK, said:
