The first ever Ebbsfleet Fusion Festival is set to take place on Saturday 30th July and coincides with the opening of Platinum Jubilee Park in Castle Hill. The family themed event is organised by Cohesion Plus in partnership with Blueprint Arts and supported by the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation.
The family focused festival will have a range of activity for all age groups young to old, from yoga to street theatre, storytelling, magic shows, and superhero walkabouts to pop, bhangra and reggae performances. There will also be a range of stalls promoting health and wellbeing and pop up street food outlets. The free festival will run from 12pm to 5pm and is the first of its kind in Ebbsfleet.
The aim of the event is to bring together the communities of Ebbsfleet and surrounding areas through music, food, dance and well-being, and to showcase the new Platinum Jubilee Park.
Where possible the organisers hope that the community will walk to the site as parking options are minimal. However where that is not possible there will be limited parking available in the area.
Gurvinder Sandher MBE the Artistic Director of Cohesion Plus commented “We are delighted to have the opportunity to produce this festival working with our colleagues at Blueprint Arts. I feel that we have created a positive family focused festival with a wide genre of performances and activities for everyone to enjoy. The arts are a great way to connect communities and create shared experiences. We sincerely hope that everyone who attends has a good time”
