Cohesion Plus in partnership with Gravesham Borough Council and Kent Equality Cohesion Council are proud to announce the launch of a new community event the Gravesham Fusion Festival which will take place on June 29 on the Community Square between 1pm and 6pm. The free event will aim to bring together the diverse communities of the borough through music, food and dance.
According to Gurvinder Sandher the Artistic Director of Cohesion Plus “We are pleased to be able to put on our first Fusion Festival which we hope will become an annual event. In addition to the music and dance we hope that the food from around the world will also add something different and attract people to the Town Centre. We have a number of exciting artists lined up for the event, we have focused on new emerging talent and we are pleased to say that many of the acts are based in Kent. Our funding from Arts Council England will allow us to not only put on this event but also push our artistic boundaries in terms of stage content and site layout.”
