Gurvinder Sandher the Artistic Director of Cohesion Plus said “I am really pleased that working in partnership with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and with the support of Arts Council England that we have been able to deliver another exiciting programme for the Mela. The challange at a time of cuts across the board is to put together a programme which appeals across age groups and communities and I hope that we have managed to achieve this. We are toally committed to bringing communities together through the arts and look forward to welcoming everyone to the Mela. Now fingers crossed on the weather.
Jassi Sidhu commented “I am really looking to performing in Tunbridge Wells. I have heard a lot about this Mela from Gurvinder and think it is very positive that there is such an event in Tunbridge Wells. I am aware that many people may have not heard of my music before but I hope that they go away wanting more. I am aiming to have everyone up and dancing throughout my set.”
