Cohesion Plus in partnership with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is proud to present the Tunbridge Wells Mela which will be taking place at Calverley Gardens between 1.30pm and 7.15pm. This free event normally attracts thousands of people and this year there is another full day of entertainment and activity for the community to enjoy. Particular highlights include the performance by emerging bhangra star Foji, the Paul Dunton 12 Piece Mini Orchestra, Branga Tanga Folk Band and the top tribute act the Take That Experience.
Gurvinder Sandher the Artistic Director of Cohesion Plus commented “We are very pleased with the stage programme for this year’s Mela. We have tried to make the stage programme as diverse as possible and feel that we have managed to do that with performances ranging from classical, to pop, to bhangra, to traditional African to street dance and samba.
